I had to laugh yesterday when I saw the article in the Better Homes and Gardens Mag about painting a head board in a weekend... This is what I can do in a weekend!! This is the girls new room. But check out what it looked like before I gave it a HGTV style room make over! It was alot of work but the girls love it! And so do I! It is fun!

I cant believe I have not posted anything sence July 12..... What is up with that? The Kids start school Monday. I didnt think I would be ready untill just in the last couple of days. The girls are fighting over EVERYTHING! So I guess its time for us to have some time apart. Maybe when they get out of school they will be HAPPY to see each other, maybe! The boys are getting board. They drive me crazy.
We went to Red Springs last weekend and it was so nice to get away. I love my family and I wish I could go there more often to see them. I was telling the youth minister about where the farm is and he want me to hook him and some of his buddys up with a place to go hunting, I bet that wont be a porblem. Ill try to upload the pics that Hallie took of the girls this weekend and the pics of the sunset and storm that came in while we were there. Thats really all I have for now!

Jeff and Susan and the kids came to Canyon this weekend for a visit. My kids and I came to Canyon also so we could see them. Emily and Luke are growing up so much. Luke found a piece of wood in Papa's shop that he carried with him all weekend. Every time I saw him he had it with him and most of the time he was cleaning it with water. He told me he had to get it ready to paint. He is sooo cute! Emily showed us her gymnastics routine that she does and she is sooo good! My kids whined alot and argued with each other alot. My mom made Brock an apt with the hair guy here in canyon and he finally got his mop cut back so we can see his eyes. It looks so much better. Blake finished baseball this week with the all-star team and so now we can finally enjoy the rest of the summer! Im thinking we will be visiting the big town of SEYMOUR very soon! The kids are looking forward to it. Sure wish Dot was there to take care of us and make me some pancakes!!!

Today we tried to have the ROBERTSON garage sale, but just like last year it rained! Oh well, we will try again next week. Maybe we can make some money for back to school clothes. The girls and I got to go see some family we have not seen in a long time. Troys sis Ann and her hubby mike and their son Zach. It was so nice to get to visit them and we had allot of catching up to do. We never seem to have time to spend with them but I decide today we would make time. I'm so glad we did. Zach has grown up a lot. I think it has been about a year or so sense we had seen them. Now we need to make time to go to Austin and see Troys brother Todd then we need to go to San Antonio to see Grandpa. The kids and I have not seen him in about a year and a half maybe closer to 2 years. We sure miss him. We will be heading back to LBK tomorrow. Its been nice to just chill in Canyon for a while. I should be getting my computer back up and running this week at home so I can keep updating on a regular basis again! Enjoy the rest of June while you still can! Its almost gone!

I love my kids so much....maybe someday, God willing, we will be able to share some really happy family memories.... We sure could use some...I have failed in so many ways. Sometimes its hard for me to read everyones blogs because you guys have it together for your kids, or if you dont, you make it work for your kids. Its just not working that way for me. I long for that great marrage, fun vacations, family pictures, and just being happy together. I dont want an easy life, but it would be nice if I could catch a brake and have only one bad day in a month instead of one good day in a month. My heart need alot of healing. Im just not sure it will heal before the kids are grown and making their own family memories.......

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go out with the girls that I play volleyball with. We had a great time. We went to Abuelos and even with call ahead seating it was about an hour and 20 minute wait to get a table. But that was fine because they had the patio opened so that people could wait out there and have drinks, chips and appetizers. The patio was packed. We just hung out and had some girl time. Our team is called the UZ2BEEZ. We were supposed to be a basketball team but when we signed up we were the only girls team that had signed up so the league didn't make. They put us on for volleyball which is my favorite sport in the world to play so I was very glad. We didn't do very well our first couple of seasons but the last season we were league champs! Yeah! That's why we decide to go out. We needed to celebrate our victory! They don't have summer league in Lubbock so we will have to wait till fall to play again. I cant wait!
